Andrea Smith Zieher: Co-owner/director
Scott Zieher: Co-owner/director

In September 2009, ZieherSmith expanded to a new storefront gallery on West 20th Street, designed by Dufner Heighes Architects. The gallery was opened in 2003 by Andrea Smith Zieher and Scott Zieher on West 25th Street. ZieherSmith presents technically sound, conceptually grounded artwork in an open environment, emphasizing new artists who reconcile contemporary experience with a strong awareness of historical precedents.

ZieherSmith is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), and Andrea served as President of Nada's Board of Directors from 2006-2010. The gallery has participated in the NADA Art Fair in Miami since 2003, and other events including Art Rock, New York; FIAC, Paris; the Volta Show, Basel; the Zoo Art Fair, London; and MACO, Mexico City.

A published poet, Scott Zieher is also a co-founder of the Emergency Press, a not-for-profit organization that produces a bi-annual literary and arts almanac and publishes manuscripts by emerging poets.
